Get the native app for your device. Android and Windows builds are in
open beta while we iron out edges, and iOS and macOS are coming
later this year. Your feedback helps.
Android
Beta
A native Android APK for sideloading. Not yet on the Play Store.
We’re still in beta and want your feedback before we go wide.
Android may warn about “unknown sources” since this build
isn’t distributed through the Play Store. Tap
Install anyway when prompted.
A native Windows desktop installer. Creates a Start Menu shortcut and
a standard Add/Remove Programs entry, so it installs cleanly and uninstalls
cleanly.
The installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen will
warn with “Publisher: Unknown publisher”. Click
More info, then Run anyway to
install.
The Linux desktop build is on hold. Sign-in does not work on Linux
yet, so the app cannot reach your account or open a battle map, and we
would rather withhold the download than ship one that cannot get
past the login screen. Use the web app in the meantime; the Linux
tarball returns once a Linux build can sign in and open a battle
map.
The native apps above are the best way to play and get the most
reliable experience. The web app is a fallback for when a native
build has a compatibility problem or a bug, or if your platform
isn’t supported yet. Works in any modern browser; add it to
your home screen on mobile or install it as a PWA from Chrome / Edge.
A native iOS app is in development, targeting the end of the year.
Until then, the web app is available as a fallback.
macOS
Coming Soon
A native Mac app is in development, targeting the end of the year.
Until then, the web app is available as a fallback.
Verifying your download. Each binary has a matching
.sha256 file. To verify on Windows PowerShell:
Get-FileHash aoa-beta-setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256. On
macOS/Linux: sha256sum aoa-beta.apk. Compare the output
against the checksum file, and they should match exactly.
